Kings are on the beach (Southport)

I understand that the kings are on the beach @ Southport
on Ocean Crest Pier this past week they caught 5 in the past 3 days..........they caught a 32, 10 , 35 , 27 , and 22 lber
Usually this bite is a little earlier but when it happens it is awesome and will last around 2 weeks before these fish are gone .
Also the 390/390 has been hot !

the 390 390 is an old loran number out from the jungle & christina's ledge

Like BackLash said, they usually hang around about two weeks, or until a frontal system comes thru and then they scatter. But, from then on, you know they are still on the beach, the shipping channel, probably on the east side up around Carolina Beach.. Hopefully I'll be able to do some east side fishing this weekend. Haven't seen any decent pogys yet tho.
